Tennis is in my blood. My great great aunt played in the 1908 Olympic Games. My aunt played at Wimbledon for 13 years. My mom won many Canadian age group national championships, and my dad was one of the best juniors of his time.

But growing up I was never pushed into tennis, despite my parents both being coaches. They let me experience many sports to see what I enjoyed. From baseball, soccer, swimming, volleyball, basketball, track and field , kickboxing , golf and gymnastics. I appreciated each had it's own athletic demands and disciplines which made me a more complete athlete.

Then at the age of ten I discovered my love and passion for tennis and played my first tournament.

I became a top Canadian junior under 12, on the Canadian team. I progressed through the ranks, eventually becoming a top 10 British open singles player with a WTA world ranking in early 300s.

But then injury and illness set in. I also discovered I had multiple high food sensitivities. That started me on my journeys to learn about diet and nutrition for sports, and the latest strength and conditioning methods.

After retiring from the tour, my passion for fitness , tennis and helping people was my driving force. I enrolled in a prestigious sports college in the U.K., studying kinesiology and advanced fitness training. This knowledge helped me fix my own injury.

I then started a decade of training athletes in a multitude of different sports, but as time went on I had more and more requests to train tennis players in all aspects, not just fitness.

I completed and became one of only a few female Certified Tennis Canada Level 3 coaches in the country.

My mission is to share my experiences of playing high level tennis, combined with my knowledge of fitness, certification in footwork and movement training, and the physical and mental demands of today's game, to help players develop into a complete tennis athlete.
